Michael Kim Fraser, 75, of Kailua-Kona died July 21 at home. He was born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, he was a certified lumber grader in Canada, owner/operator of the former Video Showplace in Kona, manager of the former Movie Gallery stores on the Big Island, asset protection associate at Kailua-Kona Walmart, board chair of The Arc of Kona, and involved in the Kona Crime Prevention Committee, Friends for Fitness, member of The Royal Canadian Legion and charter member and former president of the Rotary Club of Kona Sunrise. Celebration of life later in the year. Survived by wife, Beverly Fraser; brothers, Jeff (Colleen) Fraser and Timothy (Chrissy) Fraser; sister, Jennifer (Wes) Swain; a grandson; nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are being handled by Dodo Mortuary.
