Warrior Run and Southern Columbia both ended their seasons with close losses in the District 4 playoffs to eventual district champions, and are hoping those setbacks will help take them to the next level in the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference Division II this season.

The Defenders were knocked out of the Class 2A tournament with a 1-0 loss to top-seed Lewisburg in the quarterfinals. Alex Gilmore's goal in the first 10 minutes was enough to eliminate the Defenders, which proved a better result after a 5-0 loss to the Green Dragons in the first game of the season. Warrior Run ended the season at 11-8-1.
