NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) -- The W train was suspended in both directions throughout New York City, Thursday morning the MTA announced on its website.
The suspension comes as a result of a train with a mechanical problem being removed from Canal Street, according to the MTA's website.
Additionally, uptown N and Q trains are running local on the R line from DeKalb Avenue to Canal Street. Some uptown N trains are also running local from 59th Street in Brooklyn to Canal Street.
Commuters are advised to check the MTA's website and X account for the latest updates on train service.
