Several of Scotland’s most celebrated pubs have been recognised at the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, which marked its 30th anniversary with a star-studded ceremony on August 26, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Glasgow .
The event, described by organisers as ‘glittering’ and Oscars-themed, brought together some of the country’s top hospitality talent to celebrate excellence across the sector.
MacSorleys in Glasgow, a family-run, multi-award-winning music venue located just two minutes from Glasgow Central station, took the top gong and was named Sunday Mail Pub of the Year for 2025.
Berlinkys on Sauchiehall Street received the DRAM New Bar of the Year award, while The Criterion in St Andrews , a traditional Scottish pub established in 1874, won the Inverarit
