It will be a bright and chilly start to Thursday morning, but some changes are on the way for the afternoon.
An approaching cold front will lead to an increase in cloud coverage around midday, and a few showers could arrive for the afternoon and evening. Rain will not be very heavy, but you might need an umbrella as you head out to the Canfield Fair or the YSU football season opener.
Showers will come to an end by midnight, and skies will remain partly cloudy overnight. Behind the front we will see a reinforcing shot of cold air, and high temperatures on Friday will struggle to get out of the mid-60s. Skies will turn mostly sunny Friday afternoon, with skies remaining clear for any high school football games in the evening.
