Coldplay's Chris Martin paused a sold out show at London's Wembley Arena to speak about "West Country beef".
During the show, Martin, who is from Whitestone, Devon, which is four miles west of Exeter, pointed at a sign being held by a fan that read: "Plymouth is better than Exeter".
"Wait a minute, this is West Country beef right here, hold on, nothing else in the world matters except West Country beef right now," he told the crowd after spotting the sign.
He continued: "This sign says 'Plymouth is better than Exeter' where I'm from - I'm going to say ok cool, if that's how you feel, I respect you and I love you nonetheless, but we're probably cousins so let's be friends anyway!"
