PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Emergency crews rushed to a serious single-vehicle crash in Pemiscot County on Wednesday evening, August 27.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway D, about 3 miles south of Caruthersville.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 55-year-old Ridgley, Tennessee, man was driving southbound when his pickup truck went off the right side of the road and flipped.

MSHP said the driver and his passenger, a 44-year-old Caruthersville man, both suffered serious injuries and both were flown to a Memphis, Tenn., hospital for treatment.

Troopers report that both men were wearing seat belts and that the truck was totaled in the crash.
