Frost famously led the Knights to a 13-0 season in 2017 and a self-proclaimed national championship, which the NCAA recognized .

UCF and Frost agreed on a five-year contract through the 2029 season.

Not much is expected of the Knights this year, but they are well aware of the external doubt and are using it as motivation.
