After two days with threats of thunderstorms and some variable clouds, Portland will see a more typical late summer day Thursday with sunny skies and a high temp of about 91 degrees.

The National Weather Service notes humidity should be lower in the valleys, and (due to onshore flow and persistent cloud cover) the coast will see fairly steady highs in the mid 60s Thursday.

Friday may bring a few morning clouds that clear by the afternoon. Portland’s high temperature should reach about 91 degrees.

Saturday will bring a shift in the weather as a low stalls out just offshore of the Oregon Coast. The weather service expects rainfall to be isolated to the north of the Oregon border and along the beaches. Temperatures will drop with this system to near late summer averages, and the metro area
