DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — After a record-breaking "cold" start, we have one more day of pleasant conditions before humidity and rain chances rise.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds throughout the day as highs make a run for the 90 degree mark. Conditions will get more muggy beginning later this afternoon.

By Friday, a storm system will approach from our west, increasing our rain chances relatively early. Neither severe weather nor widespread flooding are forecast.

Rain chances will remain elevated through Sunday as the system stalls over our area. It will begin to move out by Monday, and drier air is forecast to filter into our area Tuesday and Wednesday.

After Thursday, highs will generally be in the 80s, but when rainfall moves in and how much rain could make a difference in temperatures
