EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Fire Department officials say they responded to a house fire on Thursday.

According to EFD crews, the fire was located in the 1700 block of East Franklin Street.

They say they are now beginning to wrap up the scene.

Crews ask the public to avoid the area as traffic may still remain impacted.
