A Wiregrass native accused in an alleged murder-for-hire plot in the Bahamas will not stand trial until next year, marking the fourth delay in the case.
Former Dothan beauty queen Lindsay Shiver is now scheduled to appear in court in Nassau on March 2, 2026, alongside co-defendants Terrence Bethel and Faron Newbold Jr. Her trial was previously set for August 29, 2025, but has been postponed without explanation.
Shiver has remained free on bond while living with her family in the Wiregrass and is permitted to travel to Georgia to visit her children. Bethel and Newbold Jr. are also out on bond.
