While they say a win is a win, some are definitely more satisfying than others.
Put last week’s decision in Montreal near the top of the satisfaction heap for Winnipeg Blue Bombers offensive coordinator Jason Hogan.
Formerly the Bombers’ running backs coach, Hogan saw his offence lose two starting receivers only to have Brady Oliveira rumble for 137 yards in a 26-13 victory.
“I like to see him run hard and run through contact,” Hogan said. “Did a great job last week. I thought it was mostly resilience and character on our end.”
The first-year play-caller described going into the locker-room at halftime, putting players in unfamiliar positions and watching everybody pull together – led by backup quarterback Chris Streveler, who went into the game as a blocking receiver.
“I looked at St
