A man in his 30s was stabbed on Maryland Street Tuesday night, prompting a major police response that ended with two arrests.
Police said multiple 911 calls were made at 8:19 p.m. on Aug. 27 about a man bleeding in the 700 block of Maryland. Members of the Tactical Support Team arrived and found the victim with serious injuries. Officers provided emergency medical care before paramedics transported him to the hospital in critical condition. He was later upgraded to stable condition.

Police secured the area and, with assistance from Air1 and the K9 unit, searched for suspects. Investigators said the attackers fled with items belonging to the victim.
