Church parishioners in Minneapolis were gunned down in a shooting that left two children dead and more than a dozen others injured on Aug. 27.
A shooter fired into Annunciation Catholic Church, which also houses a Catholic school, just before 8:30 a.m. during a morning Mass celebrating the first week of school, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said.
Two children were killed and 17 others, many of them children, were injured in the attack. The suspect , identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the scene, O'Hara said.
