WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes-Barre City police withdrew an invasion of privacy charge against Michael Torres, 36, during a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court on Wednesday.

Torres was charged May 20 after his ex-girlfriend reported he secretly recorded them having sexual relations without her consent and knowledge when she lived with him on Coal Street in August, according to court records.

Police added a non-criminal harassment offense against Torres, who pled guilty to the summary count.
