Changes in the forecast arrive today as showers move into central Indiana. There are light rain showers across the northern half of the state for the morning rush hour.
Have the rain gear on hand throughout the day because the rainfall will remain widely scattered through midday this afternoon. A few isolated thunderstorms will also be possible. Between the shower activity, skies will be mostly cloudy with as highs rise to the mid to upper 70s.
A cold front is going to slide over the state late in the evening. Ahead of the boundary, a few more rain showers may fire up. A wind shift will occur behind the cold front with skies becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Lows will fall into the mid-50s.
