Library hours, trash schedule on holiday schedule

The city of Surprise administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

City of Surprise trash and recycling customers will be on a modified trash and recycling collection schedule, which will postpone collection by one day. There will be no service on Monday, but collection will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

To receive weekly reminders about your pickup schedule, including holiday weeks, sign up to receive texts or emails on the MySurprise App. The app is available in both the Apple and Android app stores, or at surpriseaz.gov/mysurprise .

Note that not all Surprise residents are city of Surprise sanitation customers and may not experience a change in pickup service.
