HOLLISTER, Mo. — A project to fix two bridges in Hollister is slated to begin the first week of September.
According to MoDOT, northbound U.S. Route 65 over Business 65 (Industrial Park Drive) will begin resurfacing and permanent line striping on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Drivers can expect lane closures and traffic delays from 10 p.m. - 7 a.m. until Monday, Sept. 8.
Business 65 over U.S. Route 65 in Hollister will also be closed beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. for resurfacing, sidewalk and barrier curb repair and permanent striping until 7 a.m. on Sept. 12.
Drivers are urged to find alternate routes during the lane closures.
The work is part of a larger project that includes rehabilitation of additional bridges in Taney, Dade, and McDonald counties, according to MoDOT.
