LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Morgan Hentemann, a 33-year-old mother of five from St. Johns, was living a normal life when everything changed in an instant.
What she initially believed was just a bad headache turned out to be something far more serious.
Without warning, Morgan suffered several strokes. Doctors gave her less than a 1% chance of survival.
“To go from great to then no one knew to then, hey, she’s not going to make it, you need to prepare for that, it was just this flood of emotion and honestly, just you couldn’t even really process it because it just didn’t make sense,” said Stephen Hentemann, Moragn’s husband.
Stephen took Morgan to the hospital when she felt the pain seemingly out of nowhere.
“I died twice,” Morgan said.
