Woman killed in Landover crash after stolen car slams into her vehicle police say

Landover, MD – A 35-year-old woman from Washington, D.C., was killed Tuesday afternoon when a stolen vehicle carrying four juveniles ran a red light and struck her car in Prince George’s County, police confirmed.

The fatal crash happened around 3:50 p.m. on August 26 near the intersection of Sheriff Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Highway. Investigators say officers from Seat Pleasant had spotted the stolen car, first reported missing on August 22, and followed it from a safe distance without initiating a pursuit.
