A downtown Hamilton sports bar is closing after seven years in business.

ODDS Bar announced on Instagram Tuesday that with its lease coming to an end, the James Street South watering hole will host its final service on Aug. 30.

“We’d like to sincerely thank our beloved Hamilton community, and every single person who has supported us in the space we’ve called home for the past 7 years,” read the post.

ODDS was once owned by Hamilton-hospitality group The Other Bird and Arkells band members Max Kerman and Nick Dika.

There was a change of ownership during the pandemic, with Kerman and Dika staying on as Roc Strasbourg and Jon Rome came on board, as previously reported by The Spectator.
