RUSK, Texas (KETK)-- Therapet has been honored with the Volunteer of the Year Award by the Rusk State Hospital, recognizing their invaluable work with patients and staff.
The award was presented at the hospital by the volunteer council, where Therapet has been volunteering for more than 31 years, bringing animals to interact with patients and staff, providing emotional healing and support.
