On a warm summer evening in St. Claude, tucked beside Dondo’s office on Cypress Avenue, a modest wooden structure has quietly become one of the busier spots in town. It doesn’t sell anything, doesn’t advertise, and doesn’t even lock its doors. Yet the little shed, now known as the Giving Shack , is always stocked and humming with the kind of neighbourly spirit small towns are built on.
The idea didn’t begin in a council chamber or a community boardroom. It began, like so many things these days, on a Facebook community page.
