A Metropolitan Police volunteer has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
James Bubb, who now identifies as a woman named Gwyn Samuels, groomed the victim online before sexually assaulting her in public, the court heard.
The former officer was violent towards the 12-year-old when he raped and sexually abused her in her early teens.
Bubb, 27, was also convicted of raping a woman over the age of 18, who he met while posing as a 16-year-old girl online.
His victim said the former volunteer officer used ‘police training techniques’ on her. Bubb met his child victim on the chat roulette site Omegle in 2018 before then meeting at a Christian festival a few months later.
