SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan will be featured in a documentary about his life in the Virgin Islands, including his time with the team.
The film, titled "The Boy from St. Croix," will have its world premiere at the 32nd Annual Austin Film Festival, taking place from October 23 to 30, and is directed by his brother, Scott.
"After decades keeping the world at arm’s length, Tim Duncan reveals himself in this intimate portrait of a singularly competitive force who found basketball as an outlet for his drive, becoming one of the world’s most famous athletes even as he never lost his connection to his island home," the movie synopsis reads.
