EL MONTE, Calif. - A crash involving a motorcycle has shut down the carpool and two main lanes of the westbound 10 Freeway near Durfee Avenue and the 605 Freeway in El Monte, the California Highway Patrol reports.

An ambulance has been called for the rider.

Traffic is backed up to Grand Avenue and a SigAlert is in effect.
