CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Claire’s announced that several of its Charlotte-area stores will be closing in a court filing this week.

The filing from Monday, Aug. 25, revealed a list of over 290 locations that would close as part of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.

They include some of its “Icing” brand stores. The stores are expected to close on a rolling basis.

Boone Mall – Boone

Franklin Square – Gastonia

Rivergate Shopping Center – Charlotte

This is Claire’s second bankruptcy in the last seven years.
