FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Jewelry boutique store chain Claire's is closing five stores in Arkansas after filing for bankruptcy earlier this month.
The fashion and jewelry chain aimed at teen girls filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Aug. 6 in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
Claire's said in a court filing on Aug. 25 that nearly 300 locations would close, including 235 Claire’s locations and 56 Icing stores, which are more catered to adults.
The following locations in Arkansas are set to close: • Claire’s: Outlets Of Little Rock, Little Rock • Claire’s: Uptown Hot Springs, Hot Springs • Claire’s: Pinnacle Hills, Rogers • Claire’s: Lewis Crossing, Conway • Icing: Northwest Arkansas Mall, Fayetteville
