RICHLAND, Wash. – The Tumbleweed Music Festival is set to take place at Howard Amon Park this weekend, August 29, 30, and 31.
The three-day event kicks off Friday evening and continues through Saturday and Sunday, showcasing the region's vibrant folk music scene.
"We need volunteers for everything, for set up, for tear down. We need button sellers, people to work in the info booth, and especially emcees on Saturday afternoon," said David Carson, this year's performer and vendor coordinator and former festival coordinator.

Carson shared his passion for the event, saying "I love live music. Three Rivers Folklife [Society] has a mission to bring live music to the people."
