WENDELL, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Since opening in the 1940s, West Point in Wendell has been known as a community watering hole for both locals and tourists.

“Really what we specialize in is keeping the nostalgia of the area and the building. We wanted to keep the historical atmosphere to it,” said owner, Brandon Borrowman.

Nestled off S 1500 E Road on the outskirts of Wendell, West Point looks as it did when it opened decades ago.

“As far as structure-wise, everything is pretty much the same,” she told KMVT.

Everything from the floorboards to the countertops have been around since 1947, and four years ago, Brandon Borrowman became the owner of her favorite childhood eatery.
