JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Jerome School District recently took over its busing system. However, issues with the software led to some students being left without transportation to and from school.
The Jerome Board of Trustees held a public meeting on Tuesday for parents to voice their concerns about fixing the problem.
Per district policy, KMVT was not allowed to film inside the meeting, but we did take pictures and spoke with parents and the superintendent on the issues at hand.
“There’s nothing being done, and all the school can tell me is that I have to wait for this phone call from them,” said Gabriella Gonzalez.
The district said its bus routing system failed to register some of the drop-off and pick-up locations for students, leaving many without transportation.
