DANVILLE — Illegal and immoral are the thoughts of Tracy Bartak, president of United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 700, when discussing the anti-union tactics of Viscofan.

He, along with Tina Gonzalez Vega, of UFCW International, and three former employees spoke up at a Town Hall Event held Tuesday night at the David S. Palmer Arena. The group has also started a petition that can be found at https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/tell-viscofan-workers-deserve-safe-jobs . Bartak is hopeful that the message from the workers and the Danville community will have an influence on Viscofan.
