LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced new office policies for all Arkansas executive branch employees, including the end of remote work.

Starting October 1, the regular use of remote work in state government will end as the governor encourages in-person meetings rather than virtual ones.

Additionally, state government office hours have been extended to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This comes with new Flexible and Alternative work schedules to allow for full coverage of all duties.

Lastly, the Infant at Work policy will now apply to every department or agency where it is feasible. This allows employees with children aged 4 weeks to 6 months to bring their child to work, with approval from their supervisor.
