JASPER COUNTY, Sc. (WTOC) - The thousands of drivers using I-95 in the Lowcountry every day will have a chance to share their opinions about what should or shouldn’t change.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold an open house and public hearing on September 11 about proposed improvements to I-95 between U.S. Highway 278 and Highway 336 (Exit 21) in Jasper and Colleton Counties.
“The purpose of the proposed project is to improve capacity, mobility, and operations along the 13-mile corridor of I-95, and to address operational deficiencies for interchanges and bridges within the study corridor,” SCDOT wrote in a press release on Thursday, August 28.
