(KRON) -- Niche released its 2026 Best Colleges in America list this week. Coming in first was Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), and to little surprise, Stanford University received an upper-tier ranking of No. 3 overall best college in the U.S.

Like many rankings, the top 10 is filled with IVY League schools like Yale, Harvard and Princeton.
