WASHINGTON — A D.C. resident pleaded guilty to $1,500,000 in Economic Injury Disaster Loans from the federal government.

Jennifer May, 43, was charged with one count of wire fraud, U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro announced on Wednesday. Her sentencing was scheduled for Dec. 9. May was also ordered to return the full $1,500,000.

May was the founder and owner of Next Level Partners LLC, a consulting firm that specializes in helping campaigns comply with finance regulations and managing their accounts.

In October 2021, May applied for a second modification to her original EIDL application where she requested $1,500,000 for Next Level Partners. May applied after the U.S. Small Business Administration offered small businesses low-interest, long term loans during the pandemic. Original
