Owen Sound is again planning to hold a three-day celebration of Canada’s national winter sport.

For the third straight year, Owen Sound will hold its Hockey Fest event, a tradition that began after the city successfully held the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada in January 2023. Since then the city and other community partners have kept the momentum going by holding the annual event, with this year’s Hockey Fest scheduled to run Nov. 13-15.

This year’s event is a partnership between Owen Sound Girls Hockey, local elementary and high schools, and the City of Owen Sound, with support of the University of Waterloo Warriors who compete in Ontario University Athletics.
