LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Funeral arrangements have been announced for a Raywick firefighter killed in a crash.

Brian Hatt and Leonard Winkler, both members of the Raywick Fire Department, were responding to a call on Friday, August 22nd, when the tanker truck they were in dropped off the right shoulder of the road, causing the edge of the roadway, KY 527, to collapse.

Hatt, who was thrown from the vehicle, passed away on Aug. 25 from his injuries. He was 51.

Winkler was entrapped in the wrecked vehicle. After being freed, he was airlifted to a Lexington hospital and remains hospitalized.
