Two teens were arrested after Colorado Springs police said they found a felony amount of fentanyl, a handgun and military-grade body armor in a stolen vehicle they allegedly drove around.

One of them, a minor, had a nationwide warrant for an assault, and the other, 18, had 11 open cases in El Paso County dating back to 2022, Colorado Springs police stated in an online blotter entry.

On Monday, investigators located a stolen green 2017 Subaru Forester at the 1900 block of East Lake Blvd, near Memorial Park, and started tracking it. The driver, identified as Carmine Frey, was driving around in a black mask and had been arrested for "numerous" past vehicle thefts, police said.
