We are heading into Labor Day and for many of us, the weather looks to be very pleasant this weekend. South Dakota however, will be looking at a rain system setting up shop the next few days. For Saturday, temperatures stay seasonal in the upper 70s to low 80s with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies everywhere except South Dakota. Thanks to the rain and cloud cover, temperatures there are slightly cooler in the 60s to low 70s.
Winds both Saturday and Sunday will be very light, but a small breeze is present with the rain in South Dakota.
Heading into Sunday the pleasant weather continues in areas of North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The scattered rain showers still persists in South Dakota however, keeping temperatures there slightly cooler than the rest of the region.
