HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), has announced a new scholarship opportunity for graduates of Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

The UAH Space Camp Scholarship will offer graduates up to $8,000 in financial support for individuals who chose to continue their education at UAH.

“This scholarship reflects UAH’s deep connection to space, science, and innovation,” said Dr. Michael Poll, vice provost for enrollment management at UAH. “Space Camp does more than inspire—it equips students with the foundational skills and mindset needed for success in STEM. By connecting these young innovators to institutions like UAH, we’re helping prepare the next generation of engineers, scientists, and technology leaders who will power the region’s future.”
