Major discount department store opening 50 new stores in 19 states, including New York

As many retailers like At Home close locations, Burlington is doing just the opposite. The off-brand department store is expanding its number of brick-and-mortar stores nationwide.

Burlington, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, recently announced plans to open 50 new locations across 19 states, according to its website . 11 of these stores opened in August, but there are still 39 to come by the end of October.
