ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The City of Batavia has announced its reorganized police leadership.
Assistant Chief Christopher Camp will become the Chief of Police, and Detective Sergeant Matthew Lutey will move to the position of Assistant Chief of Police, both effective December 1.
Chief Shawn Heubusch is moving to the role of Assistant City Manager.
Chris Camp is a 19-year veteran of the Police Department, having held various positions throughout the years. He has gained much respect for his commitment and leadership, and has been recognized as Officer of the Year at one point. He lives in Attica with his family.
