NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers says the state has resolved its lawsuit over the “Clean Truck Partnership.”
Last November , Hilgers sued several truck manufacturers for agreeing to follow California’s electric truck rules, even if those rules were found to be illegal.
The lawsuit filed in Lincoln County argued that the “Clean Truck Partnership” would unfairly force California’s mandates onto other states.
“What that would have for trucking all across the United States and in particular, for the State of Nebraska, where we rely so much on trucking infrastructure, the effects would be long-lasting and disastrous.
