HARRISBURG - On Wednesday night, U.S. Representative Mark Alford (R-MO.) visited the one area he did not win in his 2024 reelection race: Boone County.

As part of a tour where the congressman is hosting 15 town halls across all 15 counties in his district, Alford spoke to people at the Lions Club in Harrisburg, addressing a wide variety of topics in front of a packed and passionate crowd. It was the last of three total stops in the tour for Alford on Wednesday.

The night was filled with shouting, applause, and displeasure as Alford spoke on political issues such as Medicaid, poverty, gun reform, international government and redistricting.
