A 23-year-old Wyoming man is dead following a fiery rollover crash in Campbell County, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.

The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, near mile marker 136 on Wyoming 387, southwest of Wright.

According to a fatality crash summary , Isaiah Carson was behind the wheel of a westbound GMC Sierra when he veered off the road to the right before traveling along the shoulder for several hundred feet.

"The GMC re-entered the roadway and crossed both travel lanes before exiting the road," the summary reads. "The GMC continued down the ditch, where it tripped and rolled through the right-of-way fence and caught fire."

Sadly, Carson, who was not wearing his seat belt, did not survive his injuries.
