WEST BEND, Wis. (WFRV) - A 20-year-old attempted armed robbery suspect was arrested after fleeing a southeastern Wisconsin gas station on a bike, and later running from law enforcement before falling down a 20-foot drop and breaking his femur.

Around 2 a.m. on August 28, officers with the West Bend Police Department responded to an attempted armed robbery at a gas station near West Washington Street and 18th Avenue in West Bend.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, witnesses gave a description of the suspect; however, he fled the scene on a bicycle before officers arrived.
