LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman is recovering after she was found shot in a Louisville interstate Thursday morning.
At about 3:45 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to reports of a vehicle collision on I-65 near Grade Lane, according to an LMPD news release.
Officers on scene found a woman who had been shot. She was conscious when she was taken to UofL Hospital where LMPD officials say they expect her to survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating. Investigators have not yet been able to determine how this incident occurred.
