SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A bomb threat was reported at High Point Elementary School in Sandy Springs, prompting an evacuation on Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson for Fulton County Schools.
All students are safe, the district said.
Fulton County Schools Police and the Sandy Springs Police Department are working to thoroughly search the building and investigate the situation, officials added.
Officials said students were taken to the Atlanta Jewish Academy for temporary staging and were taken to Ridgeview Middle School by bus.
They will be reunited with their families while at Ridgeview Middle School.
According to officials, the students will be provided with lunch and supervised by staff.
